Seasons (Tentative title)

Looking outside, everything just seems so barren

All I see is covered in white, cold and frozen

Seeing the flame in the fireplace about to die

So is my hope, my will to live by and by

Come spring as I see the plants and the flowers grow

As I watch the birds fly, as I hear rivers flow

I am reminded that life is not always dull

And that I am not alone, someone loves me in full

As the white, shiny mountaintops begin to melt

And summer's distinct heat demands to be felt

So is my faith, burning for I'm wrapped in His love

And I know I will be well if it's what I have

Green leaves turn orange, seeing them fall from the tree

So is the sinner falling, that sinner is me

But as beautiful as the bright colours of fall

Is His love for the falling sinner, His love for all

Now as I face yet another toiling winter

I have hope that things will and can get better

For His hands to me he will willingly lend

And His love is greater than I can comprehend.
